Anti-Bullying School of the Month

Following on from the Inclusion Badge Award, we are delighted to share that Garth Hill was awarded ‘Anti-Bullying School of the Month’ for May by the Diana Award.  Well done to everyone, in particular to our student Anti-Bullying Ambassadors who have worked so hard to raise awareness, provide support and keep under careful review our Pupil Well-Being Charter (founded in 2017 by students). 

This is a fantastic achievement as Garth Hill was chosen out of a pool of over 1000 Anti-Bullying Ambassador schools.  In notifying us, the Diana Award wrote, ‘We were so impressed with all the incredible work that the team has accomplished since attending training… it is clear that Garth Hill College is a place where the whole school community will feel safe and supported. Your Anti-Bullying Ambassadors are extremely dedicated to tackling bullying behaviour and are keen to create an inclusive school environment for all.’
