Bracknell Forest School Direct - Garth Hill College
Our aim is to provide the very best educational experience to all of our young people, irrespective of background or circumstance.
Our mission is simple: it is to recruit high class graduates with the potential to become great practitioners (teachers). People who are willing to work hard, accept full responsibility for their professional growth and development, and be fully accountable for providing a high quality education. People who will make a real difference to the lives of our young people and the families we serve.
Garth Hill College is part of the Bracknell Forest School Direct Partnership and works in a consortium with all secondary schools in the Bracknell Forest, and some beyond. We are offering two School Direct programmes, a salaried route and a training route. The School Direct training route offers the opportunity to take a PGCE with the University of Reading. Find out more on the Bracknell Forest School Direct Website.
If you are changing career and are a graduate with three or more years’ work experience, then you may consider applying for the School Direct Training Programme (salaried).
Please read the information on the Teaching Agency website for the first stage of applications and to complete the application form. This will then come to us via our provider, University of Reading.
