Business Insights and Work Experience

• Years 10 and 12 pupils have the opportunity to spend time experiencing a workplace.

• Students will be briefed at the start of the process and at strategic points throughout.

• The Year 10 Business Insights Programme includes a business challenge, skills review, 1 to 1 external interview and an Insights visit.

• Year 12 undertake a placement, approved by college.

• Students will need to make contact with their placements before the start of work experience to check hours of work, dress code, lunch arrangements, etc.

• Students will either be visited during work experience or a phone call will be made to their place of work to check that the placement is running smoothly.
